Hi

I wondering if any of you have had experience with the North Notts dealers in respect to Warranty/Service and if any stood out as better/worse, I am trying to choose one ot use,

In order of distance, my nearest are

Mansfield Notts
Chesterfield Derbys
Alfreton Derbys
Worksop Notts

Anyone have good/bad things to say about this selection that can help my choice,

Had my car for a week now only thing so far that is not right is that the carpet trim has come away in the drivers side footwell, apart from that no faults (yet!!)

Regards

Bear in mind that I own a Multipla, almost anything would seem good compared to a FIAT dealer!!!

Vicky,

Nowt to do with your question but would I be correct in thinking that also used to have a Stilo Arbarth and used to post across Stilo.Org.

If so it would seem that I'm not alone in ditching the fiat and getting a 206 CC.

Cheers

Hi Dave

good to hear from you,

Yes that's me, Stilo Pah!, if there is one car I have ever been glad to be rid of thats the one, Pity great idea, just badly implemented,

Still have my Multipla, and still think its a great car with crappy dealer support,

But just took the plunge last week with the 206cc, only done 300 miles in it so far (Most of those on a trip up the coast today), so far got to say I love it!

How are you getting on with yours, and did you do OK getting rid of the Stilo?.

Hi,

So far so good with the 206. No problems or worrying messages :)

Was very fortunate with the Stilo got £12.5k trade in after the Peugeot dealer spent most of a day trying to get a good bid (Got offered as low as £8 for it against a Vauxhall VX220 and was starting to think I was stuck with it). I also managed a good discount on the new one too :)

All told I'm happy.

Hope you have luck with yours although the Stilo won't take much beating for reducing the number of trips to the dealer :) As you say great idea but just too much to go wrong which it frequently did.

Sounds like you got an excellent price on your Stilo,

I was at the Fiat Sale yesterday at Derby looking over a Punto and Multipla and the Stilos were rock bottom,

A 52 Reg 3 Door Abarth with Skyroof, 1400 Miles (Fiat direct with Fiat as the Logbook Owner), Sold away for £9650 (Purchased by a local Fiat Main Dealer!)..

Surely thats actually quite good?

I mean, considering the top of the range one is about 16k new, all most of the others are sub 12k, i'm presuming you had the sporty one?

I presume you ditched it before its first birthday (when the fiat rust comes through!)

Yes I got a good deal on the Stilo - 3dr Arbarth (about £15,500) + Leather + Xenon Head Lights + Airbag Upgrade + Super Duper Warranty - Total RRP £17,300+. I paid £14,500 :)

Sold at seven months old 6,000 miles for £12,500 but was very very lucky that I got a dealer that was prepared to ring around 30 buyers and one was really keen to shift. They were also quite honest as I told them I want a minimum of 12k for it to start talking detailed figures on a deal and they still gave me 12.5k

I got a good price on the 1.6s + options (RRP £15,995). Too polite to say discount on here but well into 4 figures :)
