I nearly got to the point of swapping my 206 last month...ive had enough of rattles, roof issues, manifold issues, cat issues..and test drove a type -r!

But.....i thought i;d givie it 1 more chance so its in the garage tomorrow..if all gets fixed i keep it...if not...might be going bye bye!

Annoying isn't it..mine is sat at Pug now getting looker at. Took me half an hour to list all the problems I have..

Got a call about an hour ago telling me my pads were shot (new that already) and that my discs were dead too (thought they would be)...£300+ to sort...

They had better sort the manifold out or im gonna get woo tang crazy and start breaking bones ;-)

its sad isn't it? I really like the car. But after a while all the faults and jibes about being a hairdressers car or homo car wear you down...

...It still beats golf GTI's though..so im happy!

i like the CC but to say my dealer (arnold clark) is totally incompetent would be a compliment to them so i won't.

definitely won't buy from them again and as others aren't much better maybe that will mean no pug

after 7 brand new pugs since august 1994 it's bad when you consider changing manufacturers because dealers can't get the basics right.

Things are on the up for the Pug....

I went to pick my car up after its service and they were sure there was nothing wrong with the manifold...

A mechanic came for a drive with me, I showed him the noise and he said..."sounds like the inner skin of your manifold has cracked".

They ordered one yesterday and I got a call 10 moins ago to say the part was in!

Plus my car feels a million times better for its 40k service (even though ive only done 30k),

Maybe things are gonna be ok between me and Pug for a bit?!
