The 'spanner' says 20000 miles -- other people say 6000 miles. When is that first service due? How often are services due after that?
My mate had a Clio, and that only needed servicing every 18000 miles.
When is my first service due?

Warrenty Inspection (first service) is free of charge. This must be done in order to benifit from the Warrenty.
First service is carried out at either 6,000 miles or 6 months (which ever come first).
I believe it's only free if you have a dealer stamp in your Warrent record book thing.
Why you have a spanner showing 20,000 miles I dont know. I seem to have the same problem. It maybe becuase the computer reads the next service as part of a regular service, not taking into account of the first service if you catch my drift.
Regular Services is carried out every 20,000 miles (or 2 years) I think.
Chris.

I think from memory its soonest first
6,000 (6 months) - Free
20,000 (2 years) - Pay service A
30,000 (3 years) - Inspection - free?
40,000 (4 years) - Pay service B
50,000 (5 years) - Inspection - free?
60,000 (6 years) - Pay service A?
70,000 (7 years) - Inspection - free?
80,000 (8 years) - Pay service C
Repeat as per 20,000 - 80,000
I think I read in the manuals that inspections are free and that servicing is A,B,A,C etc. But I don't have the manual to hand.

in AUSTRALIA - When i rang them for my free first intermediate service they correct me, "its not free service, its a free check up at 6000",
they told me that it will be every 1 yr. ofcourse i dispute this since the book said every 2 yr. they show me the book again in the fine print for "Arduous condition of use" is every 1yr and the definition of "Arduous condition of use" is:-
-Continuos door-to-door use.
-Town use
thats freaken include everybody who bought a car :x so much for the peugeot extend service intervals
so in reality its
service = every 1 yr (not every 2 yr)
intermediate = every 6 month after (not every 12 months after)

If you only ever use it for shopping trips then yes. I'm only in 'town' traffic for around a quarter of my daily journey and that doesn't include the several hundred miles of motorway driving every few weeks.the definition of "Arduous condition of use" is:-
-Continuos door-to-door use.
-Town use
thats freaken include everybody who bought a car

UK 30,000 50,000 70,000 etc. Intermediate checks are definitely free acording to my servicebook.
I quote from page 4.
"Your Peugeot dealer will carry out a complimentary levels check and top up midway between each routine service, at the time or distance specified. This will be undertaken free of charge, providing that the maintenance of your vehicle has been carried out within the normal Peugeot network."
Sounds pretty clear to me
Theres also mention of an optional Peugeot Safety Check for a nominal fee which can be undertaken at the same time and which provides you with a report on tyres, brake pads and lighting (and the dealer a chance to fleece you for what most fast fit places will do for free).
