Yeah - yesterday up a hill with a fat bloke in the car doing 100 mph! :x

Mine dont like going much over 120. The most i've had on the speedo was just over 130 if i remember, but cant remember how much of a slope that was. That was not long after i got it. There is a stretch of road (the whereabouts of which shall remain undisclosed) where me + all my mates used to go to see what our cars would do (gotta do it once aint ya) so i might have a look see next weekend.

I gave up at around 135 - 9mph over the quoted max. I guess on a straight enough and level enough stretch you could take it to the rev limiter which is just a little more.

i found my engine started to overheat after 10mins being close to flooring it , but it only had 400 miles on at the time ... ive since done similar and its been okay - I do not make a habbit of it though - a new mini overtook me so i just had to keep up :D

I generally drive at a constant 90-95 on the motorway - although i do give it a good blat here & there. I hadnt gone over 100 (i dont think) since i was running late for the karting meet until today when a civic type R pulled out in front of me. A (rather childishly i admit) just had to keep accelerating until either i passed it or i couldnt go no faster. Luckily it gave up at about 110

For any plods reading this i was talking about a playstation game (honest) ;)

Dawn that kind of speed is supposed to be reserved for when u r running late - otherwise you have nothing to increase to at such times :D

Also explains why i havent seen you around at all - you flash past in a blur!
