Do you have the drinks holder fitted where the ashtray was if so can it hold a can of drink without getting in the way and without spilling.

The ashtray is such a useful bit of equipment for loose change and the fuel card fit perfectly under the lid. I imagine with a drinks holder there you would lose the little gap at the back which is perfect for storing a Nokia 3310/3330 in as well.

i had the drinks holder fitted on delivery - who really wants to use an ashtray in a new car these days anyway? must say the gearstick interferes with the storage of any mcdonalds-sized beverages though!

duncs, is that because you order the large milkshake? (not trying to suggest your greedy etc you understand). What about the small and medium cups, do they restrict the gear lever, interested because I often drive my daughter and guess what, she's partial to a McDonalds too!

You allow kids to EAT FOOD in your CC!

You're mad, you are.

Mine are even banned from eating chocolate after losing a Malteaser, only to find that they had been sitting on it for fifty miles. (I'm thinking of banning over-zealous breathing soon, too.)

Vince.

Ok caught red handed, I got one too!

Yeah they take a can and a bit of change and generally hold drinks. (it is a drinks holder after all).

The can is pretty secure, but I'd agree that it is a pain in the rear sometimes when changing gear.

Drink Holder ? There are already 2 holes on
the passenger's shelf for that. Never had problems with them...

my cc was ordered with the can holder.

there's no need to store the fuel card in the ashtray. there is a room for it in the glowe compartment

and the loose change you can put in the small "container" between the seats.
