Faulty Seat Frame

After having the interior of my cc changed to leather I noticed a lump had appeared on the back of the drivers seat.

After taking it back to my local dealer it turns out that a design fault in the seat sometimes causes a spring to pop out! In the most severe of cases this could rip the leather seat cover so Peugeot are replacing the entire seat frame.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

they can also become like rocking chairs - and suprisingly rock.

My old car had 3 new frames before they cured it. There is a ew seat frame available - just make sure they dont give you one of the old stock old style ones as a replacement.

Pauline,

If your referring to the seat frame, it was replaced FOC under warranty, if you meant the leather interior, this cost £750 and is finished in "Portland Grey" which matches my silver cc perfectly and the upholsterers even stitched the Peugeot lion into the two front seats for me - they look fantastic!

The company that did the work is called Silver Lady Car Interiors based in south Wales.

Hope this helps.
