Mine started after about 3 days (200 miles or so) !!

Just had it cured today by the dealer. Their fix?? Copper grease on the rear of the pads. Hasn't squeaked so far :)

The copper grease won't last long either...
On my pug, the dealer placed some sort of anti-squeak pads (that's how they call it at Pug NL). These now last on my pug already for 2,500KM. :D
It started with my car within a week! and became louder with each day!
You can't believe your ears when it doesn't squeak anymore! :D
Just don't take no for an answer! This doesn't happen with Vauxhal, Renault or whatever brand either!

Good Luck!

My squeaky brakes disappeared as mysteriously as they appeared with no intervention from me or anyone else! :D

Please see my post in the other problems forum . The original post was From Yen , i think re sqeaky brakes . As of mid march all cc owneres with a cc under 6 months old have a dealers goodwill period for pad replacement .Any queries ring DAVE from pug uk customer relations . He will be reluctant to tell U about this but mention you have a friend with a copy of an invioce mentioning warranty service letter 1085 . I mentioned this but he fobbed me off as my cc is 8 mths old
