This happened to me when I tried to put the roof down when going 40mph!

But apparently it can happen in quite a few situations ..

anyone else ever heard what I call 'the 3-tone beep of doom'?

And also is it just my car, or is it really, really quiet?

it does it if you try to put the windows up before you have clipped the manual clips back in too!
