Does anybody have any experience with the Toyota Sera.

I know its no sports car but I have always wanted a car with gull wing doors. As DeLoreans are no longer available and Lambos are out of my price range I wondered about this little number.

Any advice Usefull would be gratefully recieved, any other comments will no doubt just keep me entertained 8)

It is based on the Toyota Starlet. Looks a bit like a mini scoopy SVX If its the car I am thinking of. They were built about 10 years ago and limited to 3000 cars per year. Often see a H reg one in Melksham. If I remember rightly they are strict 4 seaters. They have a strong 111bhp 1.5 16 valve engine capable of about 120mph. FWD. The rear hatch and doors are largely made of glass should be reliable being a Toyota, but would imagine they will be expensive to repair. I have only ever seen them in a light gold colour.

found i can get a 3 year or 90,000 mile warranty for it for £562. Its a good warranty as I have the same one on my Fiesta and they keep paying for repairs on that one :) I have already claimed back 705 of the cost in 6 months 8) 8)
