Have a look at this link, especially the one with the Big wheel behind it.

Most CC's lose their roof, this one has lost the complete front end.

a rough translation of what happened in this crash

Babel Fish Translation Help

In English:

The knee of the Rhine bridge in Duesseldorf, 21.07.2001: A Cabrio driver (25) made of Duesseldorf rests with speed 160 downhill? 80 is permitted km/h. The Peugeot came into centrifuges, cracked against a strassenlaterne, the concrete socle of the bridge. The driver from the open car was catapulted by the force of the impact. The man flew by air and falls from the bridge 10 meters into the depth? on the Rhine meadow. Scarcely beside it the engine mount and further rubble impacted. Nearly a miracle: The Cabrio driver survived, lies with heavy injuries in the hospital.
