I can't collect my beloved CC until I have got my V5 back for my old car as I have had to send it off due to cherished plate transfer etc.
Does anyone have any ideas how long it will be before this comes back? I went to the Birmingham local office three weeks ago and to be honest I expected it back by now. Having phoned Swansea three times I haven't got very far at all!
Any ideas???
From a desperate Tigger who can only look at her CC on the forcourt!
How long to get a V5 document back from the DVLA???

Mine called back within 30 minutes, they said it would be sent that day and promptly arrived next day. I told them i had waited 2 weeks when in fact it was only 5 days
But it worked and thats what counts
If i was you i would call thats number again and complain

Well what a turn around!
I didn't get back my V5 yet, but Motor Nation decided that they would do it with the bottom of my old V5 which has been stamped by theDVLA. Mainly because my otherhalf had decided that he had had enough of me whinging on about getting the car that he would stump up the cash to pay instead of part exchanging my old car.
Motor Nation obviously knew that they would sell it for more than what they were giving for it, and said that they would do it the next day!
Couldn't wait until Saturday morning though so we went up there on Friday night to get it!
WOoo Hoooo! it's ACE!!
I am now a very happy bouncing Tigger!
