hi Spenner,

The dealer may request the original sale invioce from the foreign Pug dealer BUT , i heard on her it's no longer required , BUT when I took mine to local dealer they flat refused to do any warranty work without it even after they allegedly phoned pug uk . So from my pocket i produced the document , it's nice to get them to work for something :)

Hmmmmm, and its a FRENCH car you say?

Methinks this might just be what is actually SUPPOSED to happen? No-one elses windows go up afterwards do they? but the manual says they do!
