get onto ebay...just email them and tell them the problem, plus leave feedback on the seller.

what did you buy and who was it from?

You could always threaten the seller with a charge back (I used to work for PayPal so know their system)

However did you double check that you sent the right amount?

Thanks ,

Emailed the seller again mentioning the above and they have now replied , they say they will send the item on when it is in stock .

Is it me , every time I buy something off a company , it turns out the item is out of stock , surely the buyer should be told about this before ordering

Yes PayPal is safe- if you buy anything using it then you are protected by both PayPal and your credit card company

However not so good for sellers, as if the card is stolen (although less likley with PayPal as they have to verify it), or the buyer says that they did not receive the item , the sellers get a 'charge-back'. Meaning that PayPal take the money out of their account until they can prove that they sent the item etc....

If it makes you feel better- we sell lots of things on eBay, but always have them in stock. So if people pay by PayPal they generally get them around 2 days (royal mail permitting) from winning the auction. If sent by special delivery they can get their items next day!!

Camilla is blonde

Anyway people like horses, so don't know why its an insult to be called one (definitely preferable to 'dog')
