Hi,

Last week I told you guys/gals that I was collecting my "new" CC next Wednesday (12th March).

However, I was told yesturday that my car will be from the Show Room (The one I past 3 times when ordering it!).

I want a new car right? How do I know this one hasnt been sitting there for years?

Didnt the CC's have problems in the past and now have Multiplexed stuff and so fourth?
How do I know that this "ShowRoom car" is going to be ok?.

I ordered a 2.0 SE.

Cheers,

Chris.

probably wont have been there long but ppl will have had their paws all over it which i wouldn't like. if u need to take it ask for some free accessories as tell them u didn't pay for a showroom car and make sure the car is perfect, e.g. no marks or scratches on it.

Going back a step to Multiplexing. How do I know if this car has it or not?

it will have as multiplexing came out in oct 2001 and won't have been lying there that long.

the simple way to check is to check the hazard warning button on the dash. multiplex cars have a split button as there is also a facility to operate central locking

I ordered mine from Warwick Wright, Chiswick (Aegean Blue 2.0 SE with Black Leather) monday 3rd, it came in on the tuesday and I picked up on the friday (the delay was for SupaGuard treatment). The guy checked the availability before I put the order in and said there were two like this available for immediate delivery.

He said they make most with leather and delivery is pretty much immediate, for cloth seats because of the permutations and selling less, they may take a time to order.

BTW insurance with Esure.com - £431 :)

Is there any other reason why there might only be one button where the hazard lights are?

It was sold to me as a UK car, "Exactly the seem as you'd get from Peugeot dealers themselves" were the dealers words
