The car seems to rev at one notch below 1000 when at a standstill....... it seems to judder, does anyone elses do this?

The bonnet releaseis by the door on the passenger side on all cc's as far as I'm aware. Funny place to put it if you ask me.
Mine also keeps the rev counter at just under 1000 when just sitting in neutral. Is this not normal then? i thought it was what cars do as all the ones I've driven do that. If there are no revs, surely the engine would just stop?

It's normal for most (petrol) cars, AFAIK. All mine have idled around 800rpm.
