It was p :censored: ing it down tonight as I was driving home from work and just my luck the cantilever windscreen wiper (the one on the driver's side) decided it would be a good time to stop working! This left me with just the passenger one working and me struggling to see which is obviously illegal!

Am taking it to the dealers in the morning before work (please don't rain!) but I can't belive that this has happened! I never had any problems with my 206 and that had the same wipers.

Has anybody ese had this problem or is it just me?

I remember reading in What Car magazine that the one that they had on test (moonstone 2.0 SE) developed this problem.

Update:

Well, took it in and as soon as the guy lifted the bonnet the probelm was obvious! Where the wiper is connected to the car had completely come away and as he touched it it all fell apart!

They had to keep the car (thank goodness I have another one I can drive) and then order a part as they had never seen this hapen before. Unfortunately that meant that the car had to stay there overnight bhut I have got it back now.

I have tested the wipers and they are working fine apart from the fact that when I turn them off they bounce back up about an inch before stopping! Not a problem but very annoying!!
