I'm selling my car over the next week (I hope!) and was after a bit of advice about the selling price.

It's a 2002 02 reg 1.6S Argean blue with black leather, alloys, sp grille, sports pack, windstop etc. It's got other things like lexus lighs etc but I'll be taking those off before I sell it. It's done 9500 miles (probably 10,000 by the time I sell it).

The dealer has offered me £11,800. I've put it in autotrader and ebay for £13500 ono.

What do you reckon?

Is it an import?

Bear in mind that you can buy 1.6 imports for £12,897 on the road with sports pack (but not leather!)

It's not an import. Bought from a uk dealer, for my sins! (over £16k - I knew nothing then......) Any ideas on an asking price?

Which lights are you after? I've got the front quads and back lexus, though mattb has asked for first refusal on the quads.

I'll probably be selling them, depends if I can get a buyer on ebay (or autotrader).

I'll probably sell the windstop, unless I sell it to the dealer. In which case, Ill let you know. How much can your mate get them for Cotswolds?

I'll prob have my stereo, Mstation and under seat sub for sale too.

Sam,

Yeah, I was going to reject the car, but it's been in to the garage over the last few days and it looks as though all the problems have been fixed (sadly!)

I don't think I have a case for rejection anymore!

The windows don't leak (even when I use a pressure washer on them!), the breaks don't squeek, the breaks light switch has been replaced and secured, so it's all systems go!

I'd keep the car, but I ordered an Audi S3 before I picked it up from the garage. I'm a bit gutted actually, because it's coming up to the summer and I won't have a convertible!

There's always next summer with the 307 I guess!

Jon

Sorry to hear that, but glad to hear you have an S3 on the way, nice motor (wolf in sheeps clothing).

I have posted in the rejection section on the thread you have started, after much deliberation I have decided to reject mine. Hopefully I will have a case, the delaer bumped the car and have not managed to fix it after 2 attempts.

If my rejection is successful, not sure what I am going to go for, I only have approx 16k to spend. Civic Type R is top of my list. Spent some time looking through Civic Type R forums and most people seem very happy, with the most common problems being rattles around the dash.

Think I will go test driving this weekend.

Good luck in selling your motor mate.

Cheers

I'm bidding for lexus rear lights on Ebay so if I don't get them (cos Andy is bidding against me!) I'll be interested if that's OK?
