well try this number plate that is up for grabs at the next DVLA auction
5 EXY
the reserve price is £3500, so who is gonna buy it then. I would but I might get done under the trades description act

The reserve price is almost laughable ! After attending a few of the auctions looking (and not getting !) that special plate. The last one I went to was in Glasgow where I went for '2 nnn' (nnn being my initials) it went for almost 6 times the reserve (and £3.5K more than I was going to spend) it was at this point that I gave up on the idea, and much to the missus' delight bought a new bathroom suite

makes me laugh when you see little run abouts with these types of plates on, you know the plate is worth more than car.
Never been able to work that one out, why spend most of your money on a number plate and then buy a cheap car to stick it on.

I think it would be easier and cheaper to register your car in the area prefix that matches your initials for example mine would be in Birmingham
BS followed by the usual prefixes

the best plate i've seen is on a little fiat chiquetootototooo P15 TOF , naughty spacing and it becomes very clear.

there are 2 guys in Wessington (near Matlock) that run a pub. They are gay I assume as they have a pink Jag but the reg is WO P15T
The car seems to have rusted now and been turned into a planter but they used to cruise around in it.
Wonder if the reg is on retention ?????
