Right, I want some more power in my CC. I don't get how it is a 1.6l engine with 110BHP when the TT is a 1.8l engine with 225BHP. I don't know much about cars but I know I'm stuck with the litre thing but that I can increase the BHP.

I've heard bits and pieces about chips but don't fully understand. What do various chips and super chips do and how much am I looking at? Is it worth doing it and would I notice a difference? I basically understand that they increase BHP but how much can I increase it by and how safe is it? Do I have to tell the insurance company and so on?

Can someone give me the full SP please????

Thanks guys

The story I've heard is that you may be able to get more power but the quality of the engine components isnt up to it. So it's not a good idea

It would appear Peugeot can get 180bhp out of the 2.0l enging on the new GTI 180.

If you are considering a superchip, probably around 5-10 bhp increase, not the increase you might be looking for. But if you do, Pug dealers will now fit them which will protect your warranty.

Hope that makes sense, I am very tired 8)
