Stark raving mad, this idea.

For Sale Forum needs a bit of opinion to assist would be buyers out there as well as sellers, don't help kill off the For Sale Forum with such rigid ideals.

Unlock the For Sale Forum threads!

After all, they can still be moderated in the usual way.

Totally agree with robbie.

whether it to post an opinion or to post a bad experience with seller or buyer. Whatever the reason, there is no need to lock that particular area.

I don't understand why this has happened? Is the area getting abused?

I suppose locking does take less effort that removing or editing inappropriate posts.

Might be that moderators have better things to do

oops looks like I'm two posts too late!

Hey Rob - don't be like that....its nothing personal, more a rant against your position of authority. Have you never moaned about a boss at work or a superior, making decisions you can't influence? Its human nature to knock the people at the top of the tree (and probably perhaps a bit of misguided jealousy) After all, I would only like to be a Moderator so I could 'alter' all Erms posts and make him appear to be the most dangerous sex-pest since Jack the Ripper! Lighten up m8!
