Dear Pat,
After last year I thought i would write you this note to apologise in advance. I know that last year saw you with terrible back pains that you have only just got over and the emotional stress of realising all those cards were not for you.
So I have decided to do the best thing possible for you ... I have contracted DHL and ParcelFarce to help with the delivery and have also finally followed your advice and widened my letter box.
This year I will of course keep the poodle tied up and leave out a small token of my thanks in the guise of a glass of milk.

I think Paul's worried the postie won't be able to cope with his valentine's cards this year, there is a simple solution - don't send yourself so many Paul.
