Ok rant over!

Julia - not being funny, but how the hell did you 'forget' to buy a ticket? i mean, its an instinctive reaction surely? i always buy my ticket before i park so i dont have to walk from car to machine and back again! Either that or i make a concious decision not to buy a ticket.

maybe there could be a whip round amongst all the forum members for your fine?

I have actually received 2 fines in the same carpark (on different occasions) due to forgetting to buy a ticket. It happened in Oxford and it is quite crafty because there is only one machine and the design of the carpark foot exits is crafty because it takes you nowhere near the machine. Also I was more used to parking in Swindon where you pay on exit. £80 wasted.

Sounds good!
The reason I forgot was I was running late for the Chiropractor (I have quite bad back trouble at the moment) and so had my mind set on getting to my appointment. Cheeky f*ckers as I pay my money in that car park three times a week and have done since Christmas. I have appealed with a sob story so I wait and see!

Quite agree, you've paid that much, you should stay there. In fact, should be priority over other cars due to the higher fee you've forked out.

The only thing with the buggers now is though that after the clamp.....its the tow. eek!
