Can we settle this once and for all?

Who likes each of these things? i cant find any poll that has actually addressed this issue - all you get is some innocent asking a question, and 2 or 3 of us slating the offending articles, and 2 or 3 others desperately defending them! Hope there are enough options up there!

By the way, post up any suggestions for alternative options?!? Also would be good to hear fresh agruments for/against either (not just the usual "it stops my neck getting cold" or "I can put my spare wheel on it and pretend i drive a 4x4" or, "they look :censored: " as seem to be standard responses)

Oh my god, i can see myself getting in so much :censored: over this one, will probably get given the wrong directions to the meets from now on!

whats the point of the boot rack. I ask anyone who actually has one if they have used it?

Main reason for buying the CC is the folding roof so whats the point of an accessory that either you can't use or if you do you cant open the roof.

I suppose some people think they look good. But their not going to look if you use them. You not going put good lugage on there as at best it's going to get dirty or wet and at worst it'll be the last you see of your Louis Vuitton.

So you can't poen the roof at all with the rack on then? Or is it only not usable when you have luggage on the rack?

Ive got a boot rack coz it gets used, I dont think it looks good but it dosent look too bad. When we drove down to Portugal the boot was full so we couldnt have the roof down anyway, so having extra stuff on the boot rack made no difference, but it was great getting the roof off once we got there. The mountain bike fits on it quite well and when my son goes to cub camp there is always too much gear to fit in the boot. Ive come away from DIY stores many times with the rack loaded up. I cant be bothered taking it off after its used so it just stays there.

I've got a boot rack, and I have to admit that I haven't used it yet (got it as a freebie in my negotiations for the car) - the only good thing is that it does help me spot the car from a distance in the supermarket car park! I might use it one day.........
If I'm not here I'm in Symi.....where the sun is always shining.....

Hi, I've got a boot rack, but I'm missing the instructions for it. I know many don't like them, but I think it'll come in handy for us going camping in the coming summer.

Has anyone got a set of instructions they could possibly scan and e-mail to me, or post here,

Many Thanks
Neil
