I've asked this before, but having a 6 month old baby we have finally decided that we aren't going to get the most out of our CC so its got to go :( . We'll probably try to sell it when the weather gets a bit better!

Anyway, its a 1.6 manual, '51' reg, with leather, sports pack and alloy wheels. It has just under 9000 miles on the clock. - and its blue (can't spell ag...)

Should we be able to get about 12K for it? or more?

Glass guide says between £11 -£12k but i think you'll be lucky to get that, with all these darn imports around

Have you logged onto www.autotrader.co.uk to see how much they're being advertised for locally to you? Mind you, that's not necessarily what they're going for - ring a few up and ask "have you sold your car yet" but remember to withhold your ID then hang up quick if they say no!

I think About 12k is a reasonable expectation if:

1. You sell just as the summer comes, and waiting lists grow
2. The car was bought/registered from a UK dealer.

If it was imported to start with, then you may have to take a slight hit on the sales price, particularly if you trade it in

Pauline your avatar is too big! I've had to put another monitor alongside my current one just to read the flipping page!
