Can someone please explain

Roland garros was a first world war fighter pilot who invented a method of firing through the propellor.

Roland Garros is a tennis tournament and club. Named after him.

Why?

and why do peugeot clearly name their car after the tennis not the fighter pilot?

1) As a Pioneer of aviation, hero of the First World War, Roland GARROS has also been immortalised by giving his name to the well-known tennis stadium and tournament. That's why.

2) It's obvious they name the car after the tennis due to its colours.

Point 1
Yes perhaps it's obvious that the tennis stadium is named after the pilot. but why name a sports venue after a fighter pilot. I'm sorry there's no obvious connection.

Point 2

Did they not chose to name the car afer the tennis and then pick the colours. Perhaps you know something I don't?

P1) Maybe the hard competition to win this trophy compares the heroic actions of the fighter, metaphorically.

P2) I believe they pick the colour first because 206 & 206CC are already in production long time now so Roland Garros edition it's not a new vehicle and its (Roland Garros=Tennis) characteristics can be clearly seen to its colour only. If you know anything more please inform me.
Also I want to remind you, the people all over the world knows the Tennis court and its famous competition, and not the french hero. So Peugeot as an international manufacture couldn't produce a vehicle to honour a local hero.
