Hi everyone I was thinking of buying a peugeot 206cc in the non-distant future. Is there anything I should know about???? I read recently that the roof had a lot of problems???

Also can anyone recommend a cheap supplier...best quote so far was £13,500 for a 1.6 will leather and alloys etc. Which is an import.

I am based in Newcastle upon Tyne and would prefer to deal locally??

Please Help

Welcome to the forum :D

DEFINITELY GET THE CAR :D :D :D

Don't be discouraged if you look around the pages of the forum at various problems people have had. Plenty have had no problems, and even the few who have had fairly major problems still love it.

You will love it.

Why not go for a 2.0 SE ? For only a smidgeon more than you've been quoted you could have an import SE. There were some teething problems with some cars (mine being one of them) and to be honest I am tiring of my regular visits to the dealership now, but the later models tend to be better it seems. You must think about why you want one - is it the looks (yes for me), the pose (not so much now that every other car is a CC it seems !), the sportiness (hmmm, negligible, although the 2.0 is nippy) .... If I was buying a new car now (which I am but that's another story !) or rather, if one of the cars I was considering buying was a CC then it would be up there near the top of the list, but not at number 1.

(don't get me wrong - for the money, it's represents quite good value - esp. the 1.6 but it looks like there might be a flood of hard top convertible over the next couple of years, I'd be tempted with one of the new ones. The Daihatsu (oky - it's a Daihatsu !) is one funky looking little car).

If I was shopping for the same type of vehicle than it would definately be a Lexus SC430, beautiful..... but at nearly 40K more than the CC.... a little extravagent ! When I was looking for my next car, I considered an ls200, got them to send the SC430 brochure too...ls200 reality, SC430 - a distant dream !

EUGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! that lexus mings!!!

its horrible to look at!!!

for me, of the hard top convertibles its the SL first obviously, then the CC, then the SLK and last the lexus which i really dont like

daihatsu...i mean seriously....come on!!!!
Micra CC.....lets be serious
307CC.... looks nasty
only one that seems promising to me looks to be the tigra which looks to be a very nice little car.

But then again thats just my opinion
