It's a bit nippy - around 2 or 3 Celcius, but quite sunny. I had a bit of ice on the windscreen this morning but no snow. The really bizarre thing is on my way back from Tesco this morning, I saw a car covered in snow!
Somebody's had a very localised snowstorm or driven a bit of a way just to go to Slough town centre. I'm not sure which is less likely

Well its pretty much all melted now
Seems that where I live and a 50 metre radius was the only part to be covered in snow!
Blue sky now

When I left for work this evening it was still settled on the road outside my house. Got to work - not a sign

snow here on new years day but there wasn't much although it's so bloody freezing it hasn't gone away. no snow where i work 25 miles away - they seem bemused when my car turns up covered in snow
i remember last january when i had the 307 before i got my replacement CC, i left for work at 5.15am and the snow was pretty deep and the 307 was fully covered in it. i went the 25 miles to work and at some points i had trouble driving as the roads were that bad with snow. when i eventually made it to work there was no snow to be seen and the 307 was still covered.
the staff that were waiting just looked at it and asked where the snow was from

I've been to cambridge today, lots of snow on the way especially going over the tops, some of the back roads over the moors were closed so went the motorway route. It was all white and pretty.
