With all the thousands of components making up a new car, they will often carry small niggly problems no matter what make you buy, I've had 2 small problems with my CC and now with my new SLK, which is due in for warranty work on the 14th Jan.

Doesn't stop me from purchasing and enjoying new cars though.

i would say don't worry about problems, but that may depend on what monkeyship (aka dealership) you bought it from.

Well I got my car 2nd hand! Was planning on a brand new one but found this one in a local garage with every extra that I wanted! Wasnt a pug garage! :D

Full service history etc, warranty transferered etc and owned by another female driver! So no probs really! 8)

Apart from a veery loud clonking noise when turning corners sounding like the wheels! Took it in to puegeot and they said no fault found! :(

But after reading posts I think its gonna be the whole gas leaking from shock scenario!

lmfao hahaha paul thats class mate lol. can hear bumps eh? could be your bushes. ask your dealer where it states in the manual that is it meant to make a noise. if they cant (which we know they cant) then get them to book it back in.
