I just picked my 206cc up last week. Occasionally when I go to put the roof down both sets of windows retract but the boot doesnt open. A warning beep sounds. I then have to close the roof locking clips, close the windows manually, and then restart the whole process. So far it has worked the second or third time i've tried it.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Windows go down but roof doesn't

remember to pull the security curtain in the boot before you try to work the roof

That's not the problem otherwise the windows wouldn't even drop.
It's happened a couple of times on mine - I just flick the switch the other way and put the windows up for a bit and then try again. Seems like the system doesn't recognise that the windows have made it all the way down.

I once hit the button to put the roof down, and both drivers side windows dropped, the rear passenger window dropped, but the passenger front window stayed fully up! Obviously i noticed and put the windows up and started again, but if the missus had been in it on her own............
Will the roof actually hit the windows if they aren't lowered?

I've had this happen twice in the last week. In both cases going back and starting the process over again has sorted it out but it is mildly worrying. The two most likely causes are:...I go to put the roof down both sets of windows retract but the boot doesnt open...
Any ideas why this is happening?
a) micro-switches not set themselves properly when the windows have gone down, or
b) The root motor hasn't engaged properly with the roof mechanism.I suspect the latter because the motor seems to be whirring away. It may be just a matter of tightening up the mechanism with the key that you use to disengage it (to operate the roof manually).
On the other hand: c), it could be that one of the gears in the roof mechanism is getting worn out/stripped. I haven't had time to check it out but if it gets to be a regular problem, I'll take it in.
Vince.

Exactly the same is starting to happen on mine, but only in the mornings when it's cold.
I get in the car, undo the clips and hold the button back. The wnidows go down then I hear some clicking from the back. If I keep the button down, it eventually starts moving (sometimes 10-20 seconds delay though).

Check your white toggle thingy. I could be completely on the wrong track here but mine had popped out and the roof wouldn't go down.
Pop it back in and hopefully it should be ok.

Mine did that during the Bewrkshire cc meet last year, when my boot lock seized a few days beforehand. Practising a mini-mexican roof wave at Sainsbury's in Bracknell and the windows dropped then a warning beep sounded repeated the process and roof worked fine. Not happened since though
