Recall Concerns - Aussie Owners Update

There's been a number of posts on recalls of CC's in Europe relating to wiring loom rubbing against steering column and roof locking mechanism.

I've raised these with Peugeot Australia and have had confirmation back from them that they're looking into it for me. As soon as I get a response I will post the information in the forum.

Frosty,
It's said I think only early cars are being recalled for these malfunctions. Do you have any doubts about yours??

Frosty dont worry

My car was recalled as it was an early build that was delivered March 2001

Melanies car was however not as it was not affected. It was a later build July 2001 and was delivered in September 2001.

All you guys Down Under should not worry as your cars were built after the 'probelm period'.

So stop worrying and ENJOY (9 1/2 days to go for me now

)

Thanks Rob, I'll let Peugeot Australia know. At the very least though raising this with them shows I'm in the loop with what's going on elsewhere.

As for me, 3 days to go!!!!! Will snap a pic as soon as I get it and send it in. 16 months has been a long time to wait, can't believe it's here.

its these last few days while its sat at the garage and you expect a call to say someone has crashed into it in the car park :sad:

I dread the phone ringing now when the garages number shows up. Usually they just ring to ask me questions

I just hope what happened to my CC doesn't happen to yours.
Mine got crushed completely on the transporter lorry in transit! Apparently its quite a regular thing.
Keep those fingers crossed! Its well worth it!
