Whenever rains, my belt does the well known annoying noise for a few minutes untill the engine worms-up and then stops. Can anyone reccomend a spray lubricant for noisy engine belt? I know that i cannot use a silicon based spray.

I had the same problem!

Take it into your dealer, it's a known fault on the CC. They'll replace it as it's under warranty.

They had the car for the whole day, but it's sorted the problem out.

Same problem and with mine, but as i hear i believe its not the belt but some wheel there. I went to them (it was hot!) ... they said.. its not a problem!!! (Serious persons!) I expect more noise and i'll go to them again. Plus the wheel of the steering pump is a little bit moving!!!.. Stupid car finally!

I found out that the noise does not come from the belt but from the top pulley. I have used a silicon lubricant, it does stop the noise but is a temporary solution.

gsp i have the same problem, whenever i go to the dealer, the engine is worm and they say everything is ok.
