Plastic vents...gotta go, help!

Hi Ya all.... Since this place is the answer to all cc owners worries...

I wanna get rid of the cruddy looking black plastic vents on the bonnet and possably replace them with ali ones or similar.

Any ideas where I could find some + has any1 got any pics of them???

I think £48 plus the cost of painting. Which we got done for free by our local dealer although we and insurers did have to pay £400 to take a scratch some bas***d put down the side.

I'm told it's simple. Nice man at Dealers did it. I think it is only a mater of a few clips or screws and moving washer pipe. There are a few posts on the subject. Try the search facilty

Or you could just paint the ones on your car, makes a hell of a difference, unless you have a black cc of course!

Fitting is simple but my advice is use a screwdriver to yank the existing fixing things out and not ya bare hands cause i ripped quite a bit of skin off my fingers doin it by hand :lol:

But yeah once the old ones are off new ones fit in real easy :D

To insure vents insurers wanted more per year in extra premium than the vents cost to buy. So our vents are not insured.

Most odd when they haven't charged for the sp grille. They insure that for no extra carge even though it would cost more to replace than the original
