Hi there,

I am a newbie 206cc owner having just collected mine earlier today (Import, 1st reg owner, moonstone, £12,897 inc rd tax)

However things have not gone entirely to plan and my cc is lacking the sports pack it was supposed to have! Does anyone know if it is possible to have this retro fitted or whether it can only be done at time of manufacture? :?:

Obviously I am a bit disappointed- but was still a fun 3 hour drive home! (Err are you supposed to run in the engines these days? )

Thanks

Can you give it back an tell them to sort it out, the sports pack makes all the difference asthetically to the interior.

Did you pay for the sports pack? If so take it back and demand that they give you a CC with a sports pack!

Well I have been having a few problems with importers. The first cc I got lacked air conditioning and this is now my second (different companies).

However I have got it confirmed in writing that the car should have the sports pack- so I guess its now just a case of getting hold of the sales guy and see what they can do (I'm guessing they are just going to try and offer £100 discount  )

I was hoping that at least some of the pack could be fitted as the gear stick with plastic gaiter is very naf.

Thanks for your help

well............

the gear stick can be replaced to the sports pack one, but that alone is like 50 quid.......

then add the drilled aluminium pedals, handles, handbrake button, door sill plates and silver thingys on the air vents

ur lookin at way more than 100 quid to do it seperately and some things you just cant do.

My advice........ make them give u what u ordered!!!!!! dont accept anything less!!!!
MMMMmmmmmm V-TEC u gotta love it :)

well technically it could possibly be done afterwards but not at the £100 option cost. as erm says it will be a lot more - probably try £300-£400 incl monkey time.

Peugeot sells these aliminium articles seperate in Norway:
gear stick
door sill
petrol lock

personaly I think the door sill and the petrol lock is the best part in the alu pack (sport pack)

Well I still haven't managed to get hold of the sales guy, as apparently the company doesn't work weekends!

However after ringing my local pug garage, the sports pack can be retro fitted.

I will get hold of the company on monday asd see if I can convince them to pay to have it fitted (after all they technically sold the car with it)

Will be interesting to see how far I get with this as the company has not got a good rep. on this forum so far!

If you dont give up my guess is that you will get the sport pack or what it is priced to when you buy a new car..... :D
Noone can sell you a car with sport pack and give you one without and get away with it... Not even Great Britain is that mad..... even if I have seen some examples which states that your consumer rights arent on the level of the norwegians consumer rights...

Will name company later once I discover what they are going to do about this- so will either be praise or flame!

I live very near Cirencester and was intending to buy extended warranty from Athelstan (presuming that this is worth it, as you only get 2yrs European warranty on imports?)

I thought the stylish white dials within the intrument pod were also part of the sports pack?

If so, that's one of the best bits of the interior that make it sporty.
