Hi,

I have a 2.0 CC. It has the standard 16" wheels on the moment - but i have money burning a hole in my pocket and i want bigger wheels.

Has anyone changed wheels on this forum, and if so what size did you go for? Did anyone manage to fit 18" wheels on - is there any need to roll the arches to squeeze them in. What width are your wheels? Were there any problems getting wheels to fit to nuts?

Ta

Thanks for the info....any decent websites I can check out???

What are the spacers for - guess they push the wheels further out of the arch - are they actually needed or do they just look good??

Thanks for your help - keep the good work up mates

:)

I had to use spaers as my wheels are deep and they were rubbing on the inside arch & some of the suspension mounting on the rears and on the brake calipers on the fronts.
Theres no problem putting spacers on - you can get em for 15 quid from halfords - I've got a spare set if your intersted - 4.5mm you can have em for a fiver (plus P&P)

As for lookin good - it doesnt make a hell of alot of difference really...
