Loud snaping noise on opening Drivers door

Anyone else had this? The upper hinge appears to be loose - plan to add it to a list of things for when i can be bothered taking the car in again:

New leaks in hinge above drivers seatbelt mounting
CD player faulty
Carpets coming away
Wheel arch extension loose
Vibrations at 70-80mph (and I have had the wheel rebalanced twice)

vobrations could also be caused by a buckled wheel. youwould be surprossed how easy it is to put a small dent in the wheel. and u wouldnt even notice it. try swapping the front and rear tyres around. :D

Thanks I'll give that a go - most of the wheels have been kerbed so i will try shifting them around

I actually live north of Bury, however I use Tom Garner's in the city centre because I can walk to work in 10-15mins from there (now that they have stopped provided courtesy taxis!). What about you?
