ok heres a cc question (first time for everything ;) )
My car seems to have developed abit of a cold at the moment, as you go up through the rev range, when it gets to about 2.5 rpm the engine has a distinct 'bark' as if I have an induction kit in board. it dies away as i approach 3000 rmp.

I'm a little concerned. any one had the same ?

Mine suffered that last winter. The engine wasn't tucked in under it's cover properly so it was resonating @3k. They checked the fitting of the cover and put new screws in to make sure the engine was tucked in snuggly then the cold went away :)

The same happened to mine, it went in last week for a manifold replacement and some cover being tightened up - but I noticed today that it is still there but from a slightly different location under the bonnet.
