noisy compartment

Hi,

My 206cc engine idle RPM is around 900 (950 when the A/C turn on) is it normal?

Since, when I stop on red light, car compartment is noisy (humming),
and when I touch the shift stick, it feels trembling, is it normal as well?

I am not sure it is from the engine or transmission, any suggestion?

as for the gear stick, mine trembles too... i would guess that is normal

forget to mention, my 206cc is 1.6 automatic transmission

my iddle is at 750 rpm, donÂ´t get any hum...

Our 1.6S manual and a 1.6S auto we had as a courtesy car idled at 900 and with ac on 950.

Our car jittered/jumped/lumped whilst stationary/idling. This is a common problem that other members have had cured by software downloads.

Unfortunately, ours was not cured after 4 dealer visits and we were basically told by Warwick Wright Brent Cross that there was nothing wrong with it, along with many other problems/faults we had!

So p'd off after 12 months did a deal with them and let them have it back.

We had the auto car for a month. It didn't 'lump' when we 1st got it, but by the end of the month it was doing it!

i found out that my boot lid is still rattling, argh!!! :x , don't know what it is but i do know where it's comming from...
