problems closing down the boot lid....

my brother ask me to drive my cc, so i said ok, but when he tryed to put the roof up, he released the roof switch while it was closing, so the boot lid stood up for about 5 seconds about 2 inches from closing down, i just heard it bleeping like crazy, does anybody thinks this would screw up something at all? like the hinges or something like that? i closed the roof down, opened it up once and again and it seems to work ok

I've done the same by mistake Jaun a few times but it always worked OK after.
