According to the owners manual, the external temperature reading flashes when there is a risk of ice (which seems to be at or below 3 degrees according to my CC).
Does anyone know how to turn this 'feature' off, as it is rather annoying?...
I do quite like the 'WARNING - ICE ALERT' message that flashes up when you turn the engine on though. Just in case you hadn't noticed it was a little chilly out.

best thing to do andrew is to hope it's a bit colder. it doesn't flash at -4 or lower, looks like the software is a bit on the simple side and doesn't know the difference between +/-
