Hi anyone can hlp me out?
I had this problem recently. Whenever I open my roof, it always slide against the under side of the antenna. This is alright. What is worse is that when I the roof is closing I can see that the antenna is going under the roof(meaning the roof will close), I quickly push my antenna upward in oder that it don't get stuck underneath.
It doesn't use to have this problem, always opening/closing abt 3cm below the antenna. It seem like the roof operation has shifted few cm upward therefore this problem occur? Or the antenna had become lower? possible?
Antenna stuck with the roof.

The problem is I bought my 206cc from a parallel importer. So even though it is under warranty, i doubt the mechanic will be able to solve it because they are not specilaised in pegueot cars. Had a previous experience when sending to them to solve the problem of window noise. Came back with the ans, "Unable"!
Can't send my car to the authorised dealer because they never service cars which are not bought from them. Looks like I have to solve it myself. Came out with a idea, wondered is it possible to change the antenna to a shorter one? Has anyone tried it before? If so, does it affect he radio reception etc?

I'm not sure this is correct. As an authorised dealer, they have to carry out warranty repairs don't they? Can't send my car to the authorised dealer because they never service cars which are not bought from them. Looks like I have to solve it myself.

garrett09, as far as i know, the car warranty is valid worldwide in any peugeot dealer, it doesnt matter where you bought it, i recomend you to call the peugeot main office to complain that they dont want to give you the warranty service, can you imagine if for any reason you top doesn´t work anymore? that would be spensive to repair, so, why don´t you just try to reach them?
cheers

It's not their warranty in the first place. It's a manufacturer's warranty and it's EU wide. If the car was purchased within the EU then any Peugeot dealership within the EU has to repair it under warranty.I didn't buy the car from the authorised dealer.....so its not under their warranty.
Complain to the dealer, complain to Peugeot, complain to Trading Standards - all in writing.

On a related note, a guy in the office (the one who has the French Mini) has had recall and warranty issues with his car. It was bought in France but has had the work done in London by English BMW dealers.
The dealers charge all warranty work back to the manufacturer in any case. It should make no odds to them whether you bought it off them or, indeed, even whether you bought it in this country.
As I said above - complain to everyone.
