unknown button

Does anyone know what the button on the left of the airbag-pass switch is for?

Nothing in the handbook as usual apart from a reference to heated seats which is clearly incorrect!

i think it has something to do with the alarm. i think it is mentioned on the alarm instructions on simon's site - http://www.pugsport-gti.co.uk or com, can't remember what one.
