Col.......you may as well get a nicer one from ecosse or equiss auto instead of paying for the standard one, thats what i woulda done if i had my time again.......

i regret not paying that bit more for a more styled one :(

Yeah that is my alternative, i'm not paying ful price for the Gti front and grill so thats why i'm looking for a second hand one.

Problem is choice of front, there aren't that many out there and teh good ones are pricey, like the abbess one but almost 400 quid including lights, now thats before painting and fitting

Also i don't want it to look too boy racery, though my wife says i've gone and turned a nice girly car into a boy racer car already !! Mission accomplished i'd say

Erm, sell him your GTi front end and then buy yourself a new one - everyone is happy then

well almost, he would need to spend a few pennies to get it painted £50 should do it

2nd hand Gti bumpers are about £80, well thats what I got for mine (brand new never used, but still 2nd hand)

Grill well thats a tough one.

Lights, no dont do it.

What i meant was the fog lights, not the quad lights. Thought i would say no to a set of them too, but they're far too expensive
