I took delivery of my 206CC last week, and have a few issues I am hoping somebody may enlighten me on before I take it in!

1) Roof Leaks, bracket between accelerator and Brake is annoying & boot does not unlock with central locking - I've read all the postings on these, so no need for a reply!

2) The Automatic wipers do not seem to trigger after starting the engine. I have to turn the wipers off, and then back onto auto before they work - is this normal

3) I have condensation in the front fogs. Do I need to get this sorted, or will it go away?

4) The drivers door has at some point made contact with the body work, about level with the handle, in the middle of the large flat area you can only see if the door is open. This has resulted in paint being removed from both the door and the 'frame'. Has this happened to anybody else? I am assuming that the dealer will fix this when I take it in next week.

5)Glovebox light does not work - have not checked if bulb is dud / missing yet!

All in all I love the car, despite these irritations! Shame it is raining - again!

I had this problem. Check your interior light works in manual mode by trying to switch it on with the doors shut. also your cigarette lighter. Take it to your dealer and you will find it's a missing or blown fuse.

auto wipers - yes you have to turn them off and then back to auto position after restarting the engine.

Or leave the stalk in auto position and pull it quickly towards you (as if to spray the windscreen with water). The multiplex delay will ensure that it hasn't had time to think about spraying water (although the wipers will wipe once), but auto wipers will turn back on.

Glovebox light now works - not sure what I did different but I suspect I didn't have the key in the ignition. Lighter also works.

Thanks for the tip with the wipers - nice to know I'm not going mad!

Also, on the subject of the leaky roof it lashed down last night and this morning, and I could not detect a noticable drip. Maybe it's fixed itself!! Possibly somebodies previous comment about the rubber reforming if you put the heater on full blast for a bit helped!?
