Has anyone got a cc with the auto box? Mine has not worked properly since delivery last November. After taking until the 9th January to convince our local dealer the car SHOULD kick down (yes, even though it says it should in the book, the dealer kept waffling on about it being 'adaptive'). It has now been in dock since then and we are still no nearer knowing when it will be fixed. Customer services as useful as a chocolate teapot, as is the dealer! (Sorry, IN MY OPINION)

A woman at my dealers had a problem with her autobox. Peugeot changed the computer on it and it works fine now.
She got a quick fix as she was disabled.
Dont give up on them.
Tell them you are a member of the owners club (e-mail me for joinging info) as Peugeot Customer services know me VERY WELL as everyone on here will testify

Thanks, I'll keep the forum up to date if I ever get it fixed.
What has been your experience with Customer Relations? What is their function because they have certainly been no help in sorting my car out. I half expected they could lean on the dealer to speed things up.

lets just say that my current CC is a complete Lemon.
I have resorted in 2 visits to Peugeot HQ in Coventry.
I now seem to get a vey good service. lets put it this way, I am even mentioned by name in Peugeot meetings and bulletins.

Peugeot Customer Services are absolutely useless and couldn't care less.
If it wasn't for my dealer reacting to my complaint and now making efforts to correct the faults in my CC - I would have rejected the car by now.

My Auto CC is three days old, and I've only had one major breakdown so far! (see 'Yet another engine cutting out' topic)
It does now seem to be all well, and the automatic box is fine
Like you I had been hoping to be able to counter all the doom & gloom with total good news, pity about the total conking out on the way home from the dealer on Thursday
Let's hear it from those other satisfied customers out there

I have got a problem with the auto box after all, don't yet know whether the dealer will be able to deal with it.
When travelling in third gear, if I 'kick down' there is enough delay after the clutch disengages and before second gear is selected for the engine revs to rise too much, so that when we do go into second there is an almighty jerk (apart from the one behind the wheel, do I hear you say
). Any other autos had this sort of problem, and any suggestions?
Otherwise all is fine and dandy after my first 800 miles

G'day everyone,
I'm not expecting delivery for three months, and I have not seen the automatic gear box yet.. Do anyone have a picture of it? If you do, would you pleaseeeeee send it to my email address (trungdinh@ozemail.com.au).

There seems to be a reluctance by dealers to order major / expensive parts, even when it seems obvious they need changing. It does seem the auto box is not great, though mine now kicks down it continues to do strange things. E.g. when setting off with accelerator on the floor it will change up and pull back, then change down again and off it goes. Very disconcerting to drive. I am not even going to bother to ask my nearest dealer, Birtwistle of Northwich, to look at this, as I have no confidence in them and I have asked for a replacement vehicle. (5 months old, 44 days at the garage and still problems not fixed)

AUTO,
Thank you very much, I received your gear box image today. Very cool, now back to the day to day wait. 10 more weeks to go, the only bad thing is.. IT WILL BE MID WINTER here in OZ. Well, summer is not far after that. Get hot here around SEPT all the way to APRIL. So this CC will have a long work out.
BONDI BEACH, here I come (well not yet)...
Thanks again (AUTO).
