I wonder if anyone else have problem with the sound that comes when the roof is properly down or up. The "boing" sound - or pling at the old specs.
Often when it should play it doesnt. Well it plays perhaps 7 of 10 times. Everything seems ok with the roof, but I get a bit worried when it is silent after lovering or rising the roof... anyone else got this problem???

I noticed the roof on ours did this once - I put the roof back up and there was no sound. To make sure it was up properly I folded the roof back ever so slightly and then put it up again and I got the noise. Its almost as if there is a switch it pushes against to register that the roof is in place but for some reason it doesn't always make contact with it.

Hi,
Since I got my car last year in March my roof has made that correct sound everytime the roof has been taken up or down.
I know that the sound is very low and it is hard to miss so I lower my music so I can hear it.
I haven't taken the roof down in ages since the weather is not your typical convertible weather.
