The wife and I are hopefully expecting delivery of our new baby in a few weeks time (From Spain).
It's a black 2.0 CC ! Has anyone got experience of the insurance backed 2nd and 3rd year warranties available.
Not sure whether to go with the suppliers (Wundercars of York) or seek alternative.
Any views appreciated ?

depends on the price and cover.

Try several Peugeot dealers and see what price they will sell you the extra 2 years for. After all its only an insurance policy and I know of a few dealers who have sold to owners of imports.

for my last car (a used megane coupe), I bought it with an extended warranty from the dealer - it was a Warranty Holdings deal and it was CR@P with a capital C. So when it ran out, I went to http://www.warrantydirect.co.uk and they were much easier to deal with. And loads cheaper.

For my CC, I paid £470 for yrs 2 & 3 and it's an RAC version so I should be okay. But you DO HAVE to keep it serviced (and through a franchised dealer I think) whereas warranty direct don't care who services or repairs it, as long as they are VAT registered.

Good luck! Pauline
