Digital oil level display now flashes

Hi and hope you're all well,
A quick question regarding the digital oil level display
The little squares that indicate the oil level now flashes for around 10 seconds on start up instead of them being a solid display for 10 seconds.
I've obviously checked the levels with the dipstick and all is fine.
Is there any reason as to it now flashes.
