Hi
I've a 2003 16v 1.6 206cc and am replacing a the front right light units.
Europarts have a unit that requires me to fit the old motor to the new unit
I worked out how to remove the motor from the old light.. Twist and pull gently
My problem is that when I fit to the new light unit I can't get the ball joint of the motor spindle into the slot so it will push out but not pull back
I've looked everywhere and can't find how to fit an old motor to a new light unit
Does anyone have any hints.. It must be a common thing to do but I can't find any guides and my lights doesn't move back...
Has anyone fitted a new light unit with old motor?

"Before you disconnect the headlight, switch the h/lights on, with the level adjust set to high,(i.e. 0) then disconnect the h/light, this will extend the adjuster arm out of the motor asy. and give you a bit more free play when you twist the motor out of the h/light. and don't just pull the ball end out you'll break it! it slides sideways out of the grove."
My grove is too tight to fit the ball across the length, I need to file one side of the slot to be wider to fit the Europarts lights
