Air con valve cores

Hi folks,

The high and low ports on our 206cc's air con are leaking and I've (rather foolishly) disposed of the old cores thinking I could easily get replacement valve cores

However, this is not true - apparently Peugeot never sold valve cores separately, they only sold a new pair of pipes including valves (part number 6460 LG) but they are now NFP.

Kwik-Fit, Autodoc, GSF, Eurocarparts, Peugeot Museum and Mr Auto don't stock them and I’ve called 8 local scrappies to no avail.

Does anyone here have a couple knocking around I could purchase please or perhaps know of a source I am yet to find please???

I believe they are 8mm thread, 21.5mm long.

I did order some generic ones from Ebay last week and although they fitted perfectly the springs were not robust enough and collapsed when I attached the adapter that connects to the vacuum pump. So I spent a couple of hours vacuuming out on Saturday for the atmosphere to rush back in as soon as I removed the adapter

Any help with sourcing a couple of new or second-hand working valve cores would be very much appreciated please.

Yep, I've called a couple but they just sell kits with loads of different valve cores and there's no guarantee the kit will have the ones I need.
