Airconditioning controls light

Hi,

I recently noticed that the air-conditioning controls (buttons) are not illuminated when the lights are on. I have the automatic climate control module and the screen it self is illuminated but not the buttons.

Should it be like this or are there some bulbs that have burned out?

Popped bulbs usually, easy enough to change though.
